Preceptor,

I've arrived in the village of Holden. The journey took longer than expected as the lands between are lawless and deviants of all sorts prowl along the roads. Here now I had hoped to find some semblance of civilization, but it is as the rumours said. A mess.

Dangerous forces gather from beyond the borderlands and it seems nobody is in charge. I've seen and even spoken with various villagers, farmhands and dimwits of all sorts that have taken it upon themselves to fight back the darkness. I honestly find it very endearing. Some of them have even risen to some heights of heroism and show signs of power.

I'm making inroads to learn the secrets of this land and I'll write again once I know more.

Anodyne

This map is the product of an ongoing West Marches campaign of DCC. The map itself is being drawn by an in world character, Anodyne Pretense. Anodyne is posted up in the main village, and draws the map based on her own knowledge and information shared to her by other players through the in character RP channel of the game's discord.
